The Macomb County Cougars Travel Basketball program consists of young athletes from ages 10-18 years old from southwestern counties in Michigan and Canada. They have the opportunity to travel and compete in NCAA certified tournaments throughout the country to garner exposure from college coaches and scouting services. Our program also has league teams for others who seek development in the fundamentals of the game and mentorship.
As we continue to grow and provide a environment of learning through education, mentorship and teaching the proper skills to become effective basketball players, we have accumulated more expenses in facility use, facility insurance, player insurance, equipment use, tournament fees, uniforms, hotels and transportation costs, and many more items. The average expense per players is approximately $1600.00 for travel and 250.00 for league.
With your company’s tax-deductible donation it will allow the Macomb County Cougars to continue to provide these services at a low cost to the youth in our community and the ability to reach even more students who may not have the means to participate at all. We appreciate any type of contribution to our program either monetary, or goods and services.
