Head Coach

This is Coach Collins, and I’ve been coaching basketball for 8 years. I currently serve as the 7th and 8th Grade Coach at South Lake Middle School and a Varsity Assistant Coach at South Lake High School.
My focus as a coach is player development helping athletes improve their skills, build strong fundamentals, and truly understand the game of basketball. I believe the best players come from consistent work, attention to detail, and learning how to play the game the right way.
I also believe basketball should be fun. The culture I try to build is one where players work hard, support each other, and enjoy being in the gym together. Some of the most important parts of sports are the memories you create and the lifelong brotherhood you build with your teammates.
For me, coaching is about helping players grow as athletes while also building confidence, discipline, and relationships that can last long after the season is over.
